Classification of security surveillance cameras

Color Imaging Classification
(1) Color surveillance camera: Suitable for cases where it is necessary to recognize the color of clothing or the color of scenery. A color sensor replaces each pixel of a monochrome sensor with R (red), G (green), and B (blue), so 10 times as many pixels are required to achieve the same resolution. This has the disadvantage of reducing the resolution.
(2) Monochrome surveillance camera: It is mainly used in places where there is a lack of light or where lighting equipment cannot be installed at night. When object recognition and understanding of object movement are required, monochrome surveillance cameras with higher resolution are usually chosen over color sensor surveillance cameras.

Resolution Classification
(1) Low resolution: Approximately 250,000 pixels, with a color resolution of 330 lines and a monochrome resolution of approximately 420 lines.
(2) Medium resolution: Between 250,000 and 380,000 pixels, with a color resolution of 420 lines and a monochrome resolution of about 500 lines.
(3) High resolution: More than 380,000 pixels, color resolution of 480 lines or more, and monochrome resolution of 570 lines or more.

Sensitivity Classification
(1) Normal Sensitivity: Normal operation requires an illumination level of 1 to 3 lux.
(2) Moonlight: Approximately 0.1 lux of illumination is required for normal operation.
(3) Starlight: Illumination of less than 0.01 lux is required for normal operation.
(4) Infrared lighting: In principle, it achieves zero illumination and uses an infrared light source to generate images. OOSSXX's home wireless and poe powered security cameras are 5 megapixels, with monitors and micro, and can record nearby audio, and can be recorded and played back by the system, and can also be used for remote monitoring via smartphone linkage. OOSSXX's security camera IR-LED system automatically activates infrared mode in dark places. In addition, it is the latest system in the industry, so it can be expanded up to 10 units.

CCD sensor size classification
(1) 1 inch sensor size: 12.7mm width x 9.6mm height, 16mm diagonal.
(2) 2/3 inch sensor size: 8.8 mm wide x 6.6 mm high, 11 mm diagonal.
(3) 1/2 inch sensor size: 6.4 mm wide x 4.8 mm high, 8 mm diagonal.
(4) 1/3 inch sensor size: 4.8 mm wide x 3.6 mm high, 6 mm diagonal.
(5) 1/4 inch sensor size: 3.2 mm wide x 2.4 mm high, 4 mm diagonal.
(6) 1/5 inch: Currently in development. No official product has been released yet.

CCD surveillance cameras are also divided into PAL and NTSC systems, and can also be classified by image signal processing methods or camera structures. OOSSXX is always striving to provide high-performance surveillance solutions that meet the needs of different customers.
