How to troubleshoot and repair a surveillance system malfunction

Security surveillance systems are very common in our lives. When problems occur, many people may rely on professional technicians, but for those with a certain level of skill, you can learn to troubleshoot and repair security surveillance systems by mastering the following tips. Just like diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine, there is a trick to repairing surveillance systems.

First, you need to identify which part of the surveillance system is causing the problem. In the process of troubleshooting, check whether there is an alarm sound in the system, and if the devices in the system are powered, check whether there are signs of sparks or discharges, and identify which devices and locations these sounds are coming from. Also check whether there is sound in the output from the monitor head, whether the sound is noise or distortion, and whether the noise volume meets the requirements. OOSSXX's wireless and POE powered security camera recorder set has a monitor and an automatic overwrite function, so if there is not enough capacity, it automatically covers old data and continues recording. It records well 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. OOSSXX's wireless and POE powered security camera is equipped with remote monitoring and alarms, so you don't have to worry anywhere! OOSSXX's 5 million high-definition camera also has improved heat dissipation and durability, and the service life is 4 times longer. If a video recorder (tape or hard disk) is in the system, check whether the sound during playback is distorted, the pitch is changed, there is a buzzing sound, AC noise, vibration sound, abnormal noise, and the output volume is appropriate. If you have a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera, check whether there is any friction, collision or other abnormal sound (such as scratching, tearing, etc.) under the motor drive, and whether the noise volume of the PTZ is normal when it is in operation. Based on the abnormal sound you hear, it will help you discover, investigate and ultimately identify the problem.

If you smell a burning, burnt or different smell in the system, this will also help you identify the device that is emitting those smells. In this case, open the device's case and conduct a detailed investigation, and finally identify the specific part, part and component of the trouble. Once you find the problem in your monitoring system, it is relatively easy to go further. Next, we will share some common monitoring system troubles and the corresponding solutions. It will help you take appropriate measures according to the problem. OOSSXX has a management philosophy of "best quality and perfect service".
